Working toward change even when change is scary.

Maeve’s last day with the Autism and Behavior Center was planned and yet I was a mess. Jeanne also graduated from ABC last summer and I was a mess then too!

We never lose our team of psychologists, super therapists, doctors, and caregivers, but I just wish we could be keep everyone we care for as close as possible forever, is that too much to ask?!

Jeanne started with a new therapy team this week and by this summer she will meet yet another. This is good. She, we need these teams and the practice, always the practice that comes with the therapy plans.

Jeanne will also be getting more support in school. A huge relief and a new team for Jeanne and us to meet. This is amazing news, a true God sent support that took time to arrange, but it’s finally here!

These changes are good, these changes have been coming for months. New providers will mean more long term support and more support each week for both girls.

This is a new chapter. This is the start of a great chapter. But first, I will be sad and be whiney about not getting to see the people who were the first to save and support us.

And isn’t it something, the first daycare provider to give Jeanne grace came back around in our lives to give Maeve a little grace.

This isn’t goodbye, friends, this is see you later. But also, I still know where we can find you!
