Odd right? But when Jeanne asks to go to the bathroom (“Mom! I have to pee!”), I start game planning.
Will the toilet be one of those LOUD automatic flushers? I hope the toilet has the old fashioned manual flush handle so Jeanne doesn’t panic and refuse to go in. It might flush, deafen, and spray her with water!
Will there be a stall open? Jeanne doesn’t have a slight urge to go, her body is extremes. She finally hears her body signals when she REALLY needs to go.
Will other people be using the bathroom? They might flush unexpectedly or not reciprocate polite conversation when Jeanne inevitably asks them a question or makes an observation.
Automatic air dryers are another story. The volume triggers Jeanne’s TOO LOUD signal and she covers her ears, crouches, and screams. In Jeanne’s world the Dyson model is specifically horrendous.
